The bed was comfortable.

The hotel could benefit from more storage space in the rooms, as there was nowhere to hang clothes or store belongings properly.

The units were freshly cleaned with air con. The location is central.

The breakfast and evening buffet were very rich. The staff very friendly

Our room was apparently directly above the kitchen, it smelled permanently of frying fat. The safe key would have cost extra. Why?

The noise in this hotel is unbearable, as if I was trying to sleep in a zoo. I woudl ve appreciated a room upgrade, considering the circus I endured . Breakfast is just mediocre, lacking variety. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

The location in a local area was great and there were a market and a local store nearby. And it was relatively close to El Cortijo, ate there couple of times. They offered airy and bright rooms with reheated chips, see view, as example.

Consider bringing your own storage solutions for clothes, as rooms lack adequate cupboards, making it challenging to keep belongings organized.

Staff most very good e.g. reception, security (Sahru), and kitchen bar people e.g. Jamil, Pau, Valentina, and others

Was only one canteen apparently, too small room for 3 persons, too expensive garage and Wi-Fi, and too stressful at every meal because there's no place to sit

The location in the old part of Malgrat. I stayed at the hotel about 40 yrs. ago. Ofcourse it was family owned then, and therefore more intimate.

The female reception staff were a bit frosty, the young man was very helpful.

Recommend it for great food lovers

The breakfast was really good with various eggs and lovely bacon, what else can you ask for in the morning. The staff were friendly even if there were a few language barriers, especially the maids, bless them they just didn't understand our tip.

It wasn't exactly cheap for what you get but still acceptable.

The staff are very helpful, great evening buffet with lovely wine & a brilliant buffet breakfast in the morning, we only stayed for one evening travelling to southern Spain but we would go back to this hotel again!

It is a little difficult to find but the hotel in next to the train station with a free car park. I beleive the hotel also offers secure parking for 12 euros.

Location near beach.

Food - weighted towards Eastern European clients. Hotel decor - quite run down. Malgrat - quite run down. Train station outside hotel - noisy if you have a sea view. Large groups of noisy young travellers.

Noise levels at night unacceptable due to nearby discotheque, ancient air conditioning units that barely function!!! Security near the pool area overly strict regarding inflatables and balls!!!

Lovely relaxed atmosphere and really friendly staff. Great location, beach on your doorstep and train right outside if you fancy a trip to Barcelona. Malgrat de Mar is a place to go if you just want to chillout! - Sorra d'Or is by far the best place to stay and is set in a little square beside the train station, with a few cafes around which attracts locals as well as tourists.

The location was very good for access to Barcelona.
